Nokia 8110 4G with VoLTE launched | MWC 2018
Nokia brings yet another feature phone this year at MWC 2018 – Nokia 8110. It is a reboot of Nokia’s old 8110 which was launched in 1996 and was even shown in movie ‘The Matrix‘. Current year model retains the iconic slider design of the earlier handset. Phone gets 4G with VoLTE support to blend in the modern world. It runs on a ‘Smart Feature OS’ giving access to famous Google Apps like Google Assistant, Google Search & Google Maps. Along with this, HMD Global announced its new 4G feature phone will support social media apps as well – Facebook & Twitter.
Nokia 8110 Specification
The Nokia 8110 4G comes with a single-Sim option and runs on Smart Feature OS. It is powered by Qualcomm 205 processor (Dual-Core 1.1 GHz) supported by 512MB of LPDDR3 RAM. Rebooted 8110 comes with 4GB of Internal storage. It sports a 2MP rear camera. On connectivity front, Nokia 8110 has 4G VoLTE with HotSpot functionality, WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, Micro USB 2.0 and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Phone does support FM Radio as well. Nokia 8110 Feature phone is packed with 1500mAh battery which HMD global claims to deliver 9 hrs of talk time on VoLTE and 25 days of standby time.
Nokia 8110 Price
The Nokia 8110 is set for a launch price of EUR 79 (Rs.6,300 approx) but HMD Global is yet to announce the price of its feature phone for India. Phone will be available in two color variants – Black & Banana Yellow around the month of May.
